Faculty & Staff Joan Terry, B.S., M.S. Director of Design & Imaging Arts Director of Advertising Instructor Joan's career in visual arts began at University of Wisconsin with a B.S. in Art, and then a graduate assistantship in the Graphics Studio at Indiana University, where she received a Masters Degree in Instructional Systems Technology. She worked as a Media Specialist and Graphic Designer in urban transportation before moving to Boston, where she was Art Director for an international training corporation, and a multimedia production house. Joan soon founded Terry Design, specializing in print, video, and multi-image design. Some of her client work has included Digital, Wang, Honeywell, Veryfine, ClearLight, Chubb Life Insurance, Computer Corporation of America, Milton Bradley, and The Boston Globe. She became a partner in an advertising agency in Western Massachusetts and now maintains her own business as a partner in a communications design firm. Joan has won numerous awards for excellence in advertising and design.
